Hostel Rules
1. Boarders will follow the daily routine and relevant bell timings of the hostel and the school unless exempted on medical grounds or recommendation of Houseparent/ In-charge.
2. Every student must interact in English only. Vernacular language will not be used as a medium of communication.
3. Students will sleep on their own beds only, in their allotted rooms.
4. Students will wear hostel uniform and avoid sharing clothing/articles of other students.
5. Students will not leave the premises without prior permission.
6. Physical education is mandatory for all boarders unless they are exempted by the school doctor.
7. Books, magazines and periodicals which are not approved by school authorities are strictly prohibited.
8. Students tampering with any of the surveillance cameras, TV, or damage boarding belongings or property etc. will be strictly dealt with and fined. They will be suspended from the boarding depending upon the nature of the damage.
9. Students are not allowed to carry money, valuables, jewellery and any other electronic gadget (other than those permitted) to the boarding. If anyone is found in possession of any of the above mentioned items, it will be confiscated and not returned.
10. Students are not allowed to play skating rollers and other outdoor games inside the hostel to prevent breakages and accidents. Sliding along the hand rails/ rest of stairs and fast running/ climbing down should be totally avoided to prevent accidents.
11. Boarders are not to engage in any unnecessary conversation, discussion, quarrel or altercation with the Boarding authorities. If anyone has any complaints against any employee of the hostel, a written complaint against the person is to be lodged with the warden.
12. If any boarder is found in any form of instigation, intimidation, threat to any other border, he/she will be asked to vacate the hostel forthwith.
13. Students will be punished for scribbling Graffiti on the walls, usage of foul language, and unruly movement in the corridors or any form of vandalism.
14. Offense like cheating in the examination, stealing, and physical violence could lead to suspension/ expulsion from the boarding/ school.
15. Smoking is prohibited in the premises. Gambling in any form such as playing cards (even without money at stake), consumption of alcohol, and use of drugs and narcotics and even possession of such things are prohibited.
16. In the interest of safety, no student is allowed to be in possession of matches, candles, lighters or any other inflammable substance, under any circumstances and lethal weapons of any kind, which is likely to cause physical harm to others is strictly prohibited.
The School has strict rules related to use of banned substances, bullying and ragging and permitted use of information technology. On admission to the School, Parents and Students are required to sign documents related to the same which will be held as a promissory note of good conduct from the student and Parent or Guardian to the School.
