“Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words.” 

 

Versatile Verses - A Solo Recitation Competition was organised for the students of the Primary Section on 5th December,2023. The competition witnessed a participation of 25 incredibly talented poetry enthusiasts. This activity helped students develop confidence, improve vocabulary and also to get rid of stage fright. They enjoyed the perfection of expression, thoughts, emotions, rhythm and music of words. The young poets recited a variety of poems written by renowned poets like Rabindranath Tagore, Robert Louis Stevenson, Kenn Nesbit, etc. and enthralled the audience with their articulation, voice modulation and stage presence. 

 

The judges appreciated and applauded the participants and everyone was delighted to see their pleasing performances. It was a very enriching experience for each participant and an enjoyable experience for the judges and the audience.
