Though the morning sky wore a cloudy veil, it cleared just in time, allowing the Tricolour to soar high in the presence of Chairman Sir, Director Principal Ma’am, and the esteemed members of the Managing Committee as the Goenkan Community honoured the 79th year of Independence
The air echoed with pride as the NCC cadets marched in perfect rhythm, accompanied by the majestic Pipe Band, setting the tone for the day’s Celebrations. Patriotism found its voice and rhythm through fiery oratory in the speech contest, soul-stirring patriotic songs, and a dance performance that painted the spirit of freedom in motion. The School Choir sang out in voices of pure pride in our "Indianess" even as a rendition of "Ay Mere Vatan ke logo" brought tears to many an eye.
The celebration reached its crescendo with Swatantrakalp, a special screening of short films created by our talented Goenkans and a cinematic tribute to freedom and resilience.
A day where the clouds parted, not just in the skies, but in every heart, making way for the light of freedom to shine brighter.
