CLAY MODELLING WORKSHOP 2024

Organized by the Art Department, GD Goenka School. On the 18th of May 2024, we had the honour of hosting a great Sculpture Artist, Mr. Susanta Paul, for Clay Modelling Workshop at GD Goenka School, with a massive 270 participants from class 3 upto 12 standard students. The students were divided class wise, and Mr Susanta Paul and his team along with the teachers, went around demonstrating and illustrating techniques to model the chosen topic, based upon the cognitive abilities age wise, and began with an owl head, human head and for more advanced level, the Buddha head was illustrated. The children also took upon the task of cleaning the classroom to begin the next session anew and afresh. They were also taught relief work like flowers, vases etc.
