INTER-HOUSE SWIMMING GALA 2023.
The Inter House Swimming Gala at G.D. Swimming Gala for Nursery to Class II (24th November):
Over 200 children participated in this segment of the gala.
The children engaged in various fun-filled pool activities, including water balloon and ball games, fostering enjoyment and camaraderie among the young participants.
Inter House Swimming Competition for Boys (Std III-Std VIII) - 25th November:
The boys' competition was segregated into two groups: Beginner and Advanced.
Beginners competed in 15 MTR freestyle and 15 MTR backstroke events using life jackets.
Advanced participants showcased their skills in 25 MTR freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly strokes.
Around 140 boys displayed their swimming prowess across these events, highlighting their talent and dedication.
Inter House Swimming Competition for Girls (Std III-Std VIII) - 29th November:
Similar to the boys' competition, girls were categorized into Beginner and Advanced groups.
Beginners competed in 15 MTR freestyle and backstroke events using life jackets.
Advanced girls showcased their abilities in the 25 MTR freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly events.
Approximately 60 girls exhibited their swimming skills and sportsmanship during these events.
The overall event consisted of 12 events, encouraging maximum participation among the students from Nursery to Class VIII. The gala not only provided a platform for showcasing talent but also facilitated a learning experience for all participants. The students not only enjoyed the events thoroughly but also gained valuable insights and skills in swimming techniques and sportsmanship.
