‘Not all classrooms have walls’

 

Memories of school educational trips are among the most prominent of the formative years. While their purpose is essentially to educate, they can also be a fun bonding experience for everyone involved. Students gain experience in social and emotional development as they live, travel and study with peers, giving them a greater sense of independence and freedom and the ability to grow as global citizens.

 

The students of Classes V, VI and IX were provided an opportunity to experience one of the most amazing part of their educational life through an educational tour to Rajasthan.  A happy and gala group of 70 travelled through the cities of Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Mt. Abu, Jodhpur and Delhi exploring the historical monuments and learning about the rich cultural heritage of our country giving us a glimpse into the lives of the Royals. 

 

The trip also provided a vast array of beautiful landscapes which included the most beautiful sunsets from The Thar and Mt Abu, the view of the entire city of Udaipur from the City Palace, forts built in the centre of lakes and so on. 

The pictures surely do not do justice to the beautiful moments that the students and teachers spent together but it shall remain a proof of the bond and love that we shared in the Land of the Kings.
