1. The Competition shall be conducted as per the rules of Volleyball Federation of India.

2. Team Managers & the Participants will be picked from the Railway Station / Bus Terminus. Please furnish the accurate information in the enclosed format.

3. Team Managers have to report at the Reception Counter for Registration as soon as they reach the venue.

4. Team Managers have to collect the Tournament programme, Room Nos from the Reception Counter immediately after the arrival.

5. No Objection Slip has to be obtained after handing over the charge of the room to the respective in charge for the issuances of Relieving Letter.  

6.  It is compulsory for all the teams to attend the opening ceremony on     15th October 2014, at 9:00 am.

7. Coach/Manager must attend the introductory briefing session on 14th October 2014 at 04.00 pm .

8. The decision of the judges on all points of facts will be final and binding.

9. Any violation in eligibility (Over age/Over writing any other) found at any stage shall be strictly dealt with according to the provisions of the rules.

10. Medical check-up may also be administered by the competent authority appointed by the organizing school in the case of overage suspicion.

11. Protest of any nature should reach the Organizing Secretary and CBSE Observer in writing within one hour of the declaration of the result. It should be accompanied by a fee of Rs 1000/‐ (non‐refundable). The decision taken by jury will be final and binding for all teams and managers.

12. All expenses on teams like Travel, Food, Kit and sundry expenses will be borne by the participation school.

13. Every team has to make a payment of Rs. 350/‐ per day per person towards the expanses of food and lodging. This is non-refundable.  

14. An amount of Rs. 1500/‐ (Rs. One thousand five only) per school should be deposited at the time of registration on arrival of the team towards Security Deposit, which will be refunded at the time of departure after making deductions (if any), for the damages done to school property by the team.

15. Consumption of Non Veg. food, liquor, tobacco and smoking are strictly prohibited during the tournament and stay. Anyone found violating this rule will be immediately removed from the School Campus /Accommodation Areas.

16. Players are not allowed to wear any costly ornament or bring any valuable articles. The school authority will not be responsible in any way for the loss/damage of any article during their stay.

17. Team manager will be responsible for the conduct of team on the field and on the school premises. Non‐reporting for event and indiscipline by a player/member will lead to disqualification and the player/member may be asked to leave the premises immediately.

18. It is the responsibility of the team manager to bring the sick/injured player to the first aid/medical officials.

II.  DISQUALIFICATIONS

A player/ team may be disqualified / scratched for the following reasons.

1.  If the ineligibility of any member of the team is detected.

2.  Inclusion of non bonafide student in the team.

3.  Misbehaviour on ground by player or accompanying official.

4.  Use of abusive language by player or accompanying official.

5.  Misbehaviour with Officials/Opponents by player or accompanying official.

6.  Indiscipline at the place of stay by player or accompanying official.

7.  Indiscipline during the Opening and Closing ceremonies by player or accompanying official.


III.   ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

All the supporting papers verifying the age of the Player etc. in original, as per the CBSE guidelines & rules shall be carried personally by the team Manager/ Coach while reporting for participation.


IV. REPORTING AT SCHOOL:

1. All players have to report at the school at or before 03.00 pm on 14th October 2014. Opening ceremony will be held at 09.00 am on 15th of October 2014.


V.   BOARDING & LODGING:

1.    Separate lodging and boarding arrangements for boys and girls will be made by the     

        organizing school. The Manager/Coach of the respective team will stay with the participants.

2.     Payments will be made on full day basis for boarding/lodging and no part payment will be

        accepted and the participating schools will not insist for refund of part payment.

3.     The meal coupons may be collected by the team managers on their arrival on payment (as per   

         CBSE instructions) This intimation shall be given in specific Performa given in the last page.  

4.      Mattresses, bed sheets, blankets and pillows will be provided, by the organizing school (On

         prior information).  

5.      Vegetarian nutritious food will be served for all the participants will be made near

          accommodation only.  

6.     It is not obligatory on the part of the host school to provide mess and transport facility to the teams making their own accommodation arrangement. Teams opting for their own arrangements of food and accommodation will inform accordingly in writing to the organizing school with the entry form, otherwise it is presumed that the teams stay in the accommodation provided by the organizing school &take food provided by it too.

VI.   IT SHALL BE MANDATORY:

1. Each school will send one responsible male staff member as manager/coach for boys and a female staff member as manager/coach for girls’ team.

2. All Players shall carry a valid photo identity card bearing his/her date of birth, UID No. duly attested by the cluster organizing school Principal.  

3. The Coach/Manager accompanying the team shall have a valid identity Card issued by his / her school principal.

4. Players studying in class IX and X, will carry CBSE registration card along with them.

5. For Players studying in class XI & XII to provide Class X Mark sheet with photo issued by the board.
