A five day Training programme on Effective School Management and Leadership Skills, organized by North Bengal Sahodaya Complex, Siliguri was held in GDGPS from 26.10.13 to 30.10.13. the Programme was inaugurated by the President of NBSSC, Dr. S.S.Agarwal, Principal of Model High School with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Seceratary of NBSSC, Mrs. Sonika Sharma, Principal of GDGPS, welcomed the trainers and the participants.

It was attended by Principals and Heads of Institutions of 29 CBSE schools in the North Bengal region under the Sahodaya School Complex. Specialised and need-based full day workshops were organized over the span of five days by Dr. Gaurav Muradia and Mr. Nirmal Parekh of MDN Edify Education Pvt. Ltd. , empanelled by CBSE.  It covered topics like CCE , NCF , ICT , Skill and School based Assessment, Accreditation, Instructional Leadership ( MI & LD ), HR Management, Monitoring and Mentoring.

It concluded with the valedictory function on 30.10.13 which was attended by Dr. T.K Chatterjee, ex- Registrar of North Bengal University as the Chief Guest and Mr. Sanjay Bansal, Chairman of GDGPS.

The Training Programme was successful and proved to be an enriching amalgam of resourceful ideas coming from all avenues. The host school received the much deserved admiration and good wishes from the participants and experts
