The C.B.S.E National Level Science Exhibition-2013, was held at Salwan Public School,
New Delhi from 3rd-6th Oct.2013. The programme was graced by the presence of Dr.
M.M.Pallam Raju, Hon’ble Union Minister for Human Resource and Development, Mr. Edward
Atom, Dr. (Mrs.) Indu Khetarpal, coordinator C.B.S.E National level Science Exhibition
and Principal Salwaan Public School, New Delhi.
262 selected exhibits/models of Regional Level Science Exhibition 2013 held earlier
this year at different regions of India were exhibited, out of which 12 won. Students
from G.D Goenka Public School, Siliguri participated in the exhibition.
Mst. Devam Kumar, Mst. Ashutosh Rana and Mst. Parth Sharma under the guidance of
Mr. Kiran Chettri and Mr. Arup Chowdhury exhibited their model ‘A SELF SUFFICIENT
ECO-FRIENDLY HOUSE’ under the Sub-Theme Natural Resources and their conservation.
The exhibit featuring, Earthquake Shock Absorbers, Insulated Walls for thermoregulation
and Roof Mounted Solar Panels etc. got highly appreciated by the visitors.
